IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T SUCCEED,

FRY,FRY AGAIN.

Ditch your diet when in Tokyo because it’s FRY FRY day.

Beautiful Japanese traditional restaurant that serves amazing quality seafood and veggies on even more marvelous dishes.

Started off with the unavoidable Hot Sake

Then decided to try the 11 dishes course.

But checkout these artful Japanese porcelain though

Anyway, here goes nothing:

Starter: mini tofu cube topped with a sweet gelée to balance out the kick from the wasabi. Next to it, a palate cleanser made of noodly seaweed marinated in vinegar.

Now let’s get this party started:

Shrimp

Shrimp head

Eggplant

whitings

Shiitake with shrimp underneath

Scallop (Checkout that color: it almost looks like it was seared and not deep-fried which brought all the natural flavors out while keeping its tenderness on fleak)

Lotus root is the new French Fry

Eel aka Unagi

A little mixture of shrimp, scallops and veggies for the last one.

And of course, Matcha (green tea) ice-cream.

Local Tip: Get the course with the most tempura items. other course add rice, soup and sashimi but when in a tempura place, keep it decadent and Fry Fry.

And check out this gorgeous entrance:
