More seafood

IF YOU LIVE IN A RESTAURANT,

THEN YOU’RE PROBABLY A FISH.

You want to try drinking and eating among locals, this place is IT. You might feel a bit worried because English is no where to be found, but no worries. You can never go wrong when you ask for the sashimi plate and today’s specialty.

This is what I got that day:

Marinated spicy squid as a welcome “dish”. Drink wise, I am a big fan of “Lemon Sour” which is basically a Shochu soda with a touch of lemon. I like my cocktails sour.

Then arrived an amazing seared tuna plate covered with grated Daikon for that little oomph. Tip: Always remember to drizzle a bit of soy sauce on grated daikon.

Then for a palate cleanser, we got a humongous plate of deep-fried goodness: TEMPURA.

The oozing egg was to die for♥

Last but not least, we got to feast on this gorgeous sashimi plate, served in a traditional sushi bamboo bowl.

Staff was so nice to serve us some crab miso while waiting for the check as a “service” aka GRATIS!

Local tip: Feeling bold? Ask for the course of the day. It’s only JPY3000, but it’s always fun to get surprise dishes to awaken your palate. And use the calendar on the right to book:
