IZAKAYA, the typical gastropub to try in Japan. They all have their own specialty. And this one is so budget friendly. The food is surprisingly good, although I can not say the same about the booze.

So if you don’t care about your booze quality, I urge you to go try it for its yummy goodies.

Fun fact about Izakayas: Each Izakaya offers a welcome tiny dish as you sit down that they automatically charge you for called “OTOSHI”. Fun! Also, children are welcome! So if you’re in Shimokitazawa, AKA Hipster town, give it a try!
