Calories don’t count on the weekend.

What happens when you put the world and Japan in one plate?

Shut up and take my money, that’s what happens.

Starting off with a chilled meat ball soup

Then we had a Japanese Tofu “Caprese” salad.

A cute Fritter plate came next consisting of a sardine wrapped in a sesame leaf, and the tiny ball under it was a SALTED GRAPE. Shockingly delish!

The next dish for me was a winner: Mascarpone topped with a fresh fig and wrapped in prosciutto.

Ok, I take it back, the next one was definitely the winner:

Duck Risotto naturally sweetened with “Hijiki” the brown sea vegetable for the perfect balance.

But I said before, and I’ll say it again: NOT ENOUGH! GIMME MORE!

Local tip: Get the 5 dish course, sit back back and enjoy. Because they don’t tell you what’s on the menu before hand, so make sure you let them know about any allergies or food you might not be into. But the element of surprise, makes the experience even more amazing.
